Hydroponic Butterhead is simply butterhead that has been grown in a soil-free system, our crops are placed in a protected growing environment free  from pests and diseases using natural key nutrients and purified water. This lettuce is a good source of carotenoid antioxidants, such as beta carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin. Furthermore, butterhead contains higher amounts of iron than other lettuces.

Use:

• Use it in gyros and spring rolls.
• In salads, especially with creamy dressings.
• Because the leaves are nice and large, butterhead lettuce is great for using as “tortillas” for lettuce-based tacos.
• Slap a piece onto your favorite sandwiches or burgers for an added crunch.
• Butterhead lettuce can also be used to make lettuce wraps or to add a mild, subtle crunch to salads.
